I loved taking pre-natal yoga at Crofton with Shelbi. The poses and breathing exercises made a difference with my labor and delivery (was only in labor 5 hours!), and post-delivery recovery (thanks to those wall sits!!). The staff and Shelbi are very warm and welcoming, and every time I left the studio I felt relaxed and ready to face the world. — Megan

I feel connected to Crofton Yoga in a way I've never felt to other 'exercise facilities,' and I continue to enjoy my experience with your organization as my needs change. Thanks for creating such a terrific place we can all share!" — Christa

"I started classes at Crofton Yoga in March 2007. After the first couple of months, I noticed that I wasn't suffering from lower back pain as much. The class I take is fun, relieves stress, and makes me feel better. I consider it a gift I give myself every week. Thank you for being there!" — Debbie
"Crofton Yoga is truly a holistic place—over the past year, I have transformed my body, mind, and social life. Finally, I have found a place to meet other mothers like me!" — Ashley
"About six years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, an arthritis-related condition that is characterized by generalized muscular pain and fatigue. Symptoms include widespread pain, usually on both sides of the body and above and below the waist. My pain was primarily in the hips and knees, and to a lesser degree in the shoulders and elbows. Eventually my doctor prescribed medication and told me that I would probably have to take it for the rest of my life. I refused to accept this, preferring alternative ways to deal with the pain. I started with physical therapy, then moved to acupuncture. Both helped, but the constant pain remained. A friend told me about the benefits of yoga and introduced me to Jacci and Crofton Yoga. The change was dramatic. The yoga classes were soothing and relaxing. My stress level decreased. I began to understand my body and its limitations. I was able to sleep through the night. One day, I noticed that there was no more pain in my arms and shoulders. Later, walking became a painless experience—the pain in my hips was gone. I was amazed. Although I am not completely pain-free (my left hip still gives me problems at times), I am so much better. The improvement is no less than remarkable. I recommend yoga (and particularly Crofton Yoga) to anyone suffering from debilitating pain." — Virgie
"I have multiple sclerosis and struggle with weakness and balance issues most of the time, particularly on my right side. I started practicing at Crofton Yoga in early 2007, after seeing a flyer at a local coffee shop. It was a hard time for me as I was feeling weak and very frail. I stopped into the studio and was greeted so warmly by Jacci, who assured me that the instructors would understand my limitations and guide my practice in a safe, healthy way for me. How true this has been. This studio is a place of peace, warm friendship, and personal awareness. The dedicated teachers will guide, challenge, and inspire you to new levels. I can now sit in stillness and use my breath to guide me when my body is struggling. This simple act is so powerful for me. If you are searching for something that is wonderful, you can find it at Crofton Yoga." — Marybeth
"It goes without saying that you will have a great yoga experience at Crofton Yoga. What makes Crofton Yoga so special is the wonderful instructors and the warm and accepting environment they have created." — Jen
"I have found the studio to be a very supportive and family-friendly environment. I have previously taken prenatal yoga, mommy & me yoga (both of which provided a lot of support—emotional & educational), and Level 1. I would recommend them all. I am currently taking Yoga for Moms & Toddler Social Hour with Katie—it is relaxing for me and fun for my little ones!"
"What I enjoyed the most is that there is a beginners' level class. They are so hard to find, but greatly needed." — A grateful novice, Lori
"Although relatively new to the practice, I love yoga. One thing I always look forward to at Crofton Yoga is that Emily ends each class with a quote that is always timely and profound, and by saying 'Peace, Peace, Peace.' In these hectic times, it just doesn't get better than that." — Shirley
