Erin Conti-Vock is new to yoga. She has been practicing for just under a year but has fallen in love with the peace of mind and body that yoga brings. When Erin isn't doing yoga, she enjoys cooking, making soap, reading (preferably with a cat on her lap), and walking with her dog and husband.

Cinde Cuevas moved to Crofton in 2008 and began working for Crofton Yoga through the work exchange program as a babysitter while her daughter benefited from Tween Yoga. In addition to a daily class, her daughter has enjoyed Summer Yoga Camps and Yoga and the Art of Journaling Workshops. No longer a Tween, her daughter continues to pursue yoga at an adult Level. Knowing how much her daughter enjoys yoga and its benefits, Cinde continues as a member of the Crofton Yoga staff now working at the front desk on Wednesday evenings. She hopes to begin making time for her own yoga practice soon.

Felecia Giordano has been involved in training and fitness for several years. Recently she began “boot camp” style training which combines cardio with strength and endurance training. She has participated in a number of competitions and brings a vast knowledge of sports nutrition with her.  She recently added yoga to her workout routine as she continues her journey to superior physical and mental health. Felecia happily lives in Crofton with her husband and two daughters. You can find her at Crofton Yoga's front desk on Friday mornings.

Stacee Johnson has been practicing yoga for approximately 12 years and has been a supporter of Crofton Yoga since 2007. She originally started her yoga practice as a way to relieve her migraine symptoms and to reduce stress but quickly became intrigued by the many benefits of yoga. In addition to yoga, she also enjoys travel, visiting different spas and cooking. In her spare time, Stacee volunteers with the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Maryland. Stacee typically works at the front desk on Sunday mornings.

Helen Mitchell has been practicing Pilates and yoga for 6 years and has been on staff for over 4. In addition to her regular yoga and Pilates classes, she enjoys biking, swimming, walking and ballroom dancing. She volunteers for Pets on Wheels and a number of missions at the Community United Methodist Church in Crofton. Thanks to her yoga and Pilates practice, Helen is able to enjoy her retirement years free from the muscles spasms she was experiencing before practicing Pilates and Yoga.

Yoga has been helping to keep Jean Santiago sane and running for nearly 10 years, almost all those years at Crofton Yoga. She believes all yoga is good yoga and likes to try different styles and levels. In her spare time you can find her hanging out with her kids and hounds, working in the garden, or reading a good mystery. She womans the desk most Saturday mornings and then rolls into Aimee's class for a great start to her weekend.

Sharon Wanamaker is an active Crofton community member who has been practicing yoga for 6 years, all at Crofton Yoga. Sharon regularly takes Emily's class, and also is the studio's Babysitter Coordinator. You can find Sharon at the desk on Wednesday evenings. For information on how you can earn a free class by babysitting, please contact Sharon at babysitting@croftonyoga.com

Crofton Massage with Erin Kennedy, LMT
Also on staff is a a full time massage therapist. Erin Kennedy is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and has been working as a full time massage therapist in the Crofton area since 2001. A balance of experience, intuition, and a thorough understanding of body mechanics guide her approach to massage. She employs a combination of Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques coupled with an energetic under current to achieve true therapeutic benefits. She is particularly adept at discovering the underlying muscular causes of her clients' physical distress and working out those constrictions with patience and care, allowing the body the space it needs for genuine healing to occur. Additionally, Erin has a passion for working with women both during and after pregnancy, and has received pre-natal massage training as part of her certification. Sessions are available by appointment, and are open to women and men of all ages in any physical condition.

CranioSacral Therapy with Shelbi Miles, LMT, RYT

Shelbi's studies in Naturopathy, Homeopathy and Aromatherapy led her to Massage School back in the States and ultimately to her true passion: CranioSacral Therapy. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method where the therapist uses the bones of the head (cranium), the spinal column and the bones around the pelvis (sacrum) to help detect and correct restrictions and imbalances within the body. These restrictions, when left untreated, can disrupt the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, which could potentially cause problems within the nervous, endocrine, muscular and skeletal systems. CranioSacral Therapy has been shown to help people who suffer from migraines, headaches, TMJ disorders, chronic pain, emotional issues, learning disabilities and post-traumatic stress disorders, among others. Best of all, CST encourages the body's own healing processes and improves overall immune system functioning which results in a healthier you.
